Engagement at National Mall in DC
Cristina and Antonio both from Mexico, lived in DC and shared great memories of their relationship in the capital. They are moving back to Mexico and are getting married next year in Guadalajara. But before they moved, they wanted to register those memories in the city they love so much. He proposed to her at Martin Luther King Memorial in a morning after going a for a jog together. She thought it was such a cool coincidence that their favorite street musician was playing by the Tidal Basin that morning. Well, she had no idea that Antonio had hired him to play while he purposed for her. What a beautiful proposal.
It was a hot day in August and we just walked around the Mall area. We started at Martin Luther King Memorial, of course, and passed by the DC War Memorial, Reflecting Pool and watched the sun go down behind the Potomac River at Lincoln Memorial. Oh how much I love the capital! These two are so bright and it was a joy to spend the afternoon with them.
